SFA to Act Over Celtic Incident

MOUHAMED NIANG is to face a retrospective ban after his awful challenge on Yosuke Ideguchi on Saturday evening.

The Alloa player was shown a yellow card for his potential leg breaking challenge by referee Don Robertson.

As a result to the challenge, the former Gamba Osaka faces time on the sidelines after being unable to carry on.

He can consider himself lucky that he was able to limp off without any stretcher required.

There were many poor challenges in the match with Postecoglou having to use all of his substitutions to replace injured players.

The referee, who should have been protecting players, had an extremely poor game.

This is not the first match this season that Don Robertson has made a decision on the pitch that has resulted in retrospective action involving Celtic. A challenge on David Turnbull at Tannidice also had a similar outcome.
