Celtic take on Ross County this Saturday on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership season. Nothing but three points will be acceptable in Brendan Rodgers’ first domestic game back at Paradise.
For the match, the officials have been confirmed. The man in the middle will be Nick Walsh. His assistants will be David Roome and Chris Rae meanwhile Colin Steven will be the fourth official. On VAR is Greg Aitken and he will be assisted by Alan Mulvanny.

As much as it is good to know who is officiating Celtic games, if the Bhoys are good enough, they shouldn’t need to worry about the referee. We have seen some horrific decisions go against the champions previously, though, but none that have been too costly.
For Saturday, the focus should be on the unfurling of the league flag and the treble winners getting their 2023/24 season kickstarted. The only reason officials should be taken into account is if they make poor decisions.
