SFA – No Retrospective Action Against Scott Brown

It seems the SFA like to make things up as they go along. They have decided that Scott Brown has no case to answer for after it was alleged he stamped on Jim Kellerman on Wednesday night when Celtic faced St. Mirren.

Brown got tangled up in a midfield battle and had nowhere else to go when he stood on his opponent. Amazingly the SFA have cleared him of violent conduct. The irony is that they have charged him with celebrating at the sound of a full-time whistle in a Glasgow derby. But let’s not go over that one for now.

Duckens Nazon was also in the dock after the game, he lashed out at Kris Ajer catching him in the side of the face. He has not been so fortunate and a decision on his punishment will be made soon.

Celtic won the game 2-0 but afterwards, every one of the BT panel said Brown’s challenge was a red card. Neil Lennon thought otherwise, the Celtic manager proven to be right on this occasion.
