The SFA have this morning confirmed the officials for this weekend’s Glasgow derby between Celtic and Rangers.
Kevin Clancy will be the man in the middle meanwhile John Beaton will be the fourth official. Nick Walsh, who took charge of February’s cup final, will be on VAR.
As much as this news on interesting, Ange Postecoglou and his players will be hoping officials are not at the centre of attention on Saturday and rather it is the Bhoys’ football that is the talk of the town.

No matter what happens, though, the decisions officials make in a game of this magnitude are always put under the microscope and this weekend will be no different.
Should Celtic taste victory, they will go 12 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, a lead that seems almost insurmountable to rivals Rangers. Nevertheless, Postecoglou’s men need to make it three wins in four over their challengers in order to make this a reality.
