Scottish Cup Is Back On; Final in May

Celtic will now have meaningful game between now and the end of the season as the SFA confirms the Scottish Cup will resume and be played to a finish THIS season.

There had been major doubts over the tournaments status considering the lower leagues were shut down in early January. But good news over the past 48 hours has meant a new timeframe could be put in place and we can finally enter this years competition.

Celtic will take on the winner of Falkirk vs Arbroath. The bhoys will be looking to defend the Scottish Cup trophy for the fifth consecutive time.

The hoops already made history by defending it four times in a row with the nail biting penalty against Hearts solidifying Celtic’s dominance as top dogs of the Scottish Cup.

John Kennedy now has the opportunity to grab himself silverware with the club making the big decisions. Considering Celtic’s poor form this season, it will be a major ask to win the competition but they should be doing their all to try and put some silverware in the cabinet in May.
