Scottish Cup Chaos – Potential Rail Strike on Final Day

CELTIC FANS are delighted their club is on the verge of history next month in the Scottish Cup Final but now the game itself could be used as pawns in an ongoing ScotRail dispute.

If the Union and bosses don’t settle their differences on staffing then the Union will consult their members to strike on Scottish Cup Final weekend. This could cause problems on the day for fans but we’ve been told if the strike does go ahead there should be minimal disruption.

Celtic take on Motherwell on Saturday 19th May and a large proportion of both supports will be relying on the Scotrail service from Glasgow Central to Hampden on the day of the game.

The worry is that services could be affected but we’ve learned this afternoon that it may only be the CCTV staff who will be striking, and at the moment we’re unsure how that will affect rail times.
