SCOTT SINCLAIR has given his captain the ultimate compliment by including him in a squad of the best players he’s ever played with during his career to date in a feature in the latest FourFourTwo magazine.
Sinclair has played alongside Man City players and some top stars down south but when it came to the centre of his midfield – the attacking midfielder reserved a spot for Scott Brown.
Sinclair’s Starting XI in full along with subs. (in a 4-3-3 formation): Joe Hart; Micah Richards, John Terry, Vincent Kompany, Ashley Cole; Gylfi Sigurdsson, Scott Brown, David Silva; Arjen Robben, Sergio Aguero, Ryan Giggs. Subs: Ryan Bertrand, Aaron Ramsey and Daniel Sturridge
There are some top quality players in that lineup, although Ashley Cole instead of Kieran Tierney! Come on now Scotty, years of peroxide abuse catching up with you!
Sinclair has played three seasons with Celtic and has won everything before him domestically. The Englishman may not always get the praise he deserves but his influence over the past three years is very notable.
It’s great to see our captain has been a big influence on the player too. He did pick Brendan Rodgers as his best-ever manager.
