Scott Sinclair Finds New Club

Former Celtic attacker Scott Sinclair has returned to his former club Bristol Rovers on a short term deal until January [Bristol Rovers].

His early playing days begun at Rovers before earning a move to Chelsea where he would then meet Brendan Rodgers.

During his four-year spell in Glasgow he was a standout player that was vitally to the success which Rodgers delivered.

He instantly appealed to the Celtic faithful when he was subbed on and scored the winner at Tynecastle in a 2-1 victory in Rodgers first league match.

In his debut season for the club he scored an impressive 25 goals as Celtic went on to win the first of four trebles as he picked up a lot of personal accolades which were thoroughly deserved.

Sinclair was a flare player and on his day was a class act.

He continued his great goalscoring form during his second and third seasons at the club with a return of 18 and 17 goals the seasons to follow setting a very high standard.

He fell out of favour under Neil Lennon and headed south to Preston North End in January 2020.

The Championship side released the 33-year old at the end of the season but he has now found a new home at somewhere he finds familiar. He will not be available this evening but against Swindon but could feature at the weekend.
