Aberdeen’s SCOTT MCKENNA is currently in Glasgow but news of an imminent transfer to Celtic may not be the reason the player’s in town.

McKenna was snapped with drivetime Heart Radio host Paul Harper on the DJs social media saying McKenna will be taking part in Hearts drivetime.

The news of McKenna being in Glasgow spread like wildfire this morning when a snap of him in a Glasgow taxi emerged.

This led to many believing he was in town to do a deal with Celtic, which might be the case still but it looks unlikely after this tweet

The picture taken at the Glasgow Hilton shows the DJ and McKenna together.

Celtic made a £3.5mliom bid for Scott’s services in the summer but was quickly rebuffed by the Dons. They SPFL runners up are in no rush to sell their defender and are holding out for a massive bid.

We’re still not clear if this is the only reason the defender is in town.
