SCOTT BROWN’S Fleetwood looked to have turned a corner in recent weeks – the result against Sheffield Wednesday was the catalyst for the club to get things cooking.
Earlier in the season, there were a lot of hard luck stories when it came to results. The team performed relatively well but couldn’t hold onto results. Games they should have drawn turned to defeats, and matches they should have won turned to draws.
Since putting Sheffield Wednesday out of the FA Cup, they’ve not lost in their last five games. Winning four and drawing the other.

After flirting with the relegation zone in January, they’re now pulling away from the League One drop and currently occupy 13th place.

There were murmurings of discontent earlier this season despite Fleetwoo’ds modest budget. Scott seems to be getting a tune out of his players now.
You get the feeling the Celtic Legend is a couple of signings away from having a real go at things next year in his second season with Fleetwood. Right now, he needs to stay the course and finish as high up the table as Fleetwood possibly can.
