Scott Brown Turns the Tables During BBC Interview

SCOTT BROWN fires a very good question at Sportsound pundits this afternoon when he was asked about the destination of the title.

Like Celtic keep reiterating, their first choice is to finish the season on the field if possible and make the gap bigger at the top.

All the noise surrounding the season finishing early has caused no end of statements being released.

Scott Brown flipped the question over to the pundits today and asked their honest opinion if they thought Celtic sitting thirteen points clear with a superior goal difference would be caught.

“I think for us we are 13 points clear, we’ve got a great goal difference and eight games to play.” Brown explained Live on radio as cited by SunSport.

“Can any of you see us being caught?”

Tom English and Chic Young were in agreement The Rangers wouldn’t have caught them.

With Neil McCann on the line and silent at first Brown chimes in again with.

“Come on Neilly, give us that shout. Take that Rangers strip off.”

Neil responded:

“Me and Scott used to be neighbours, we’re alright.

“I don’t think anyone can argue that Celtic were on track to win the title.

“I think Celtic have shown that they can step up.”

So there we have it, what’s all the fuss about? Celtic are on course for their ninth consecutive title and to steal a phrase from a journalist online with regard to Liverpool’s title – anybody who doesn’t believe Celtic are worthy champions are playing politics of envy.
