SCOTT BROWN’s Fleetwood Town is set to host Tam Courts’ Dundee United as the sides build-up to the new season.
The Arabs will lock horns with Brown on Saturday, 23 July, in a 3 pm kick-off.
Fleetwood is still to announce more teams they’ll face in pre-season. It’ll be interesting to see if there are any other Scottish teams set to face the legend of the game north of the border.
It’s doubtful that Celtic will meet Scott Brown this summer, with their friendlies already announced.
The Celtic legend has wasted no time in getting to work in his first managerial job, signing Shaun Rooney from St Johnstone as he starts his transfer raid of Scotland. The former Hoops captain has also been linked to Luca Connell after being released from Celtic.
It’s a big task for Scott Brown as he attempts to lift Fleetwood up the table after a poor finish last season. Having worked under some top managers, he’ll be keen to impress early on in his management career.
