Scott Brown Outlines The Key Difference Between Celtic and Rangers

Celtic completed a sought-after domestic double over the weekend as they defeated arch-rivals Rangers 1-0 in a hotly contested Scottish Cup final.

A late Adam Idah strike was the difference between the sides in the Hampden sunshine, the Irish striker pouncing in the box after Paulo Bernardo’s vicious effort was too hot for Jack Butland to handle.

It was a memorable day out for everyone of a green and white persuasion but at times, it didn’t look as though things were going the way of the Celts.

Indeed, as the game reached the latter stages, Rangers appeared in the ascendency. The Hoops were second to every ball and it felt as though the Ibrox side were manufacturing the better opportunities.

In the end, however, the holders’ elite winning mentality shone through. Celtic continually find a way to win regardless of the circumstances, and club legend Scott Brown thinks that is precisely the difference between the Bhoys and their rivals.

He said: (Premier Sports via The Scottish Sun) “It’s a mentality thing. Celtic have got that mentality, how to continuously win.

“Rangers don’t have that mentality. There’s a slight difference. They come here and play well but just can’t get it over the line.

“Celtic always want to get over the line and they know how to do it.

“The front three is a huge difference in quality. Celtic going forward look fluid, efficient and like they can continue playing for 90 minutes.

“Rangers don’t look like they’re going to create much, to be honest, quality wise.
