Celtic legend Scott Brown seems fully confident that his former club will win the Scottish Premiership title. The Hoops have won two out of two leagues since Brown departed, and they will aim to make it three out of three this season.
With Brendan Rodgers at the helm, the Hoops currently sit eight points ahead of their city rivals Rangers at the halfway stage. The Ibrox club do have two games in hand, but the Celts look as though they are the better side and with January arrivals still to come in, they will only improve.
Indeed Brown is fully confident the champions will defend their title: “I think Celtic will win the league”, he said (Football Scotland). “I think Celtic overall have the better team, especially the front three.”

At the top end of the park, the Celts are top-heavy. They possess vast quality which proved to be the difference in the most recent Glasgow derby.
On that day, Paulo Bernardo opened the scoring before Kyogo bagged a phenomenal strike in the second-half to secure a pivotal 2-1 win.
Adding Nicolas Kuhn to the frontline this month would only strengthen the team, but other areas of the squad need adressed, too. Left-back is one the fans want to see looked at, but it remains to be seen what lies in store for the Hoops between now and the end of the month.
