Scott Brown Exploring Options: Dons Future in Doubt

SCOTT BROWN is facing a troubling time in the North East. After Stephen Glass – the man who brought the Celtic legend to Aberdeen departed the Dons – Brown’s future has been uncertain.

The player/coach was linked to the St Mirren job, but the paisley side opted to appoint Stephen Robinson as the successor to Jim Goodwin.

Goodwin hinted that Scott Brown might not receive the same duties as the previous manager allowed, saying his style meant that he wanted to have control over most things concerning the first team.

Then, rumours of a fallout circulated on social media after the captain was left out of the squad that travelled to Ibrox on Saturday.

Now, Stephen McGowan has written in the Daily Mail on Monday claiming that Brown is interested in exploring options available to him in the summer. If a player/coach role at another club becomes available, the club will work with Scott to find an outcome that suits both parties.

It’s no secret that the former Celtic captain is keen on stepping into management one day, but he still feels he can offer something on the pitch. He’s not rushing into anything and taking it slowly.
