SCOTT BROWN has walked away free from the SFA after the bogus charge against him couldn’t hold up under scrutiny.
The Celtic captain was charged with ‘not acting in the best interest of association football’. When it was first announced six whole days after Celtic had won the Glasgow Derby the club were adamant they would fight the accusation levied at their player.
Today they defended him in front of an SFA panel who decided he had no case to answer.
The uproar after the game because Scott Brown put several Ibrox players into meltdown with three being sent off as a result.
Morelos was sent off for trying to elbow the player, Kent got a retrospective ban for taking a swing at Broony and Halliday lost the head after the game when the Celtic Captain was celebrating the 2-1 victory.
Instead of talking about the outrageous actions of the Ibrox players we were subjected to a week of people having a go at Broony.
Today he has been vindicated.
