SCOTT BROWN AND Kieran Tierney exchanged messages on social media after both Celtic and Arsenal grabbed late winners in their Europa League ties.

The Celtic captain and the former Celtic defender are still good friends after Tierney’s move to London in the summer.

After Brown played his part in the Lazio victory at Celtic Park he congratulated his former teammate on Instagram.

The Arsenal player replied to his former captain acknowledging the Lazio result.

Arsenal wine 3-2 after being down 2-1 and Celtic managed a 2-1 victory after being 1-0 down.

Tierney and Arsenal will be one of the favourites for the completion after the London club got to the final last season. The bhoys in green have managed seven points from nine in the competition at the half way point and could find themselves in the knockout stages of the competition if they continue their top form.

Perhaps a showdown with Arsenal could await down the line for the bhoys.
