Scott Allan – It's Just Good to be at a BIG Club

SCOTT ALLAN has opened up about his move to Celtic last month. Admitting that there has been some good humour between him and others about him signing for Celtic even though he grew up a Rangers fan.

“There has been a lot of humour to be fair, with friends of friends and all that but I knew it was coming so it has not affected me at all to be honest”, the midfielder admitted.

The player came in for some pretty heavy abuse from certain quarters on social media after making the move to Parkhead. But the player was never in doubt as to where his future lay.

He wanted to further his career and Celtic are the best team to do this with. We understand there was keen interest in Scott from a lower league team but once Ronny Deila’s side came calling there was only one outcome.

The player now wants to get his head down and help Celtic in the SPFL and Europa League. Admitting the hectic schedule is what being at a club like Celtic is all about.

“It is just good to be at a big club.” he said.
