ScotRail has issued a travel advisory for Celtic fans planning to attend this weekend’s match against St Mirren in Paisley, scheduled for 12 pm on Sunday.

Due to a temporary timetable currently in effect, fewer train services are available, prompting ScotRail to encourage fans to plan their travel carefully.
A busy weekend ahead, with @edfest continuing & plenty of football action. As with previous weeks, Sunday’s timetable will be significantly reduced & customers are advised to check the ScotRail app or website for the latest service info. They will be updated by Friday, 23 August.

To accommodate increased travel demand associated with the match and the ongoing Edinburgh Festival, ScotRail is adding as many carriages as possible to its services. Additional adjustments include extra carriages on late-night services leaving Edinburgh, along with a special express service to Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk High at 12:15 am, but this service will not operate on Sunday after Celtic’s match.
On Sundays, an hourly service will operate on the express route between Glasgow and Edinburgh via Falkirk High. Fans are urged to check schedules and plan their journeys in advance to ensure timely arrival for the game and that they have a way home.
