Celtic look set to seal their first January signing. The acquisition of winger Nicolas Kuhn appears to be one that will be confirmed imminently.
The German’s previous clubs include RB Leipzig, Ajax, and Bayern Munich. He undoubtedly has talent having turned out for the academies of these teams previously.
Kuhn is joining the Hoops, from Austrian Bundesliga outfit Rapid Vienna. He has spent a year and a half with the club, racking up over 50 appearances across all competitions.

During this campaign in the league, the 24-year-old has scored twice and assisted on five occasions. Such form has piqued Celtic’s interest in the man who seems an ideal fit for Brendan Rodgers’ system.
He is one of the top chance creators in the Austrian top flight, and on a few occasions, he has come up against Scotland internationalist Max Johnston.
The Sturm Graz full-back has directly come up against Kuhn previously and he thinks the 24-year-old will succeed in Glasgow (MailSport via RecordSport): “I came up against him when we played Rapid and, technically, he’s very good.
“But the thing I remember most about him is how quick he is. He definitely has pace and he’s had a really good season here so far. If he signs for Celtic and brings those qualities I’m sure he’ll do well there.”
