World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger has announced that Celtic had the most impressive atmosphere in a Twitter Q and A with followers. He claimed the atmosphere was impressive.

The midfielder visited Celtic Park in 2003, where he was named on the bench against Celtic. Schweinsteiger did not come on from off the bench. The champions league game attracted just under 60,000 fans to watch the goalless draw. This was the first time that Martin O’Neil’s Celtic did not get maximum points at home in a tournament.
Germany is renowned around the world for having some of the greatest fans, and for a German great who played most of his playing career there, it truly is something special to be recognised as the best atmosphere he has witnessed.
Schweinsteiger won the world cup in 2014 with his country after a 1-0 win over Argentina. The round before saw the Germans win 7-1 against Brazil, a scoreline that rocked the footballing world.
