Summer signing Ryan Christie will report to Celtic as early as next week after suffering an injury with loan club Inverness.

The attacking midfielder who signed for Celtic in the last transfer window before heading straight back out on loan to the Highland side has suffered a knee injury that Celtic are keen to keep an eye on.

His injury will see him sidelined for at least a month which will take us to the next transfer window where he was likely to be recalled by the club.

Since signing for Celtic, Christie has performed well for ICT and has upped his game as he looks to fight for a place in Ronny Deila’s side.

The Celtic backroom staff will now have the opportunity to assess his injury situation and help the player going forward.
