It was back in April when Ryan Christie’s season came to an abrupt and premature end when Dominic Ball made an aerial challenge he had no right to go for and in doing so smashed into Ryan’s face.

The result was multiple face fractures for the tricky winger with an operation needed to help fix the damage.

Nearly a month on from the incident, it’s not all bad news for Ryan as he gets some extra time off while the rest of his team-mates are looking to bag an historic treble treble.

The player posted some snaps of himself and his partner enjoying a break away in Dubai and his face is looking remarkably well.

While an extra break will be great for the young midfielder he will be envious of his teammates going into the last three games.

If Celtic do the treble treble then Ryan can rest easy knowing it was his semi final performance in the League cup and winner in the final made this possible.
