Ryan Christie Says Proper Celtic Goodbye

Ryan Christie has said farewell to the Celtic support after making a deadline day move to Bournemouth. The midfielder downgraded his club but upgraded his wages and pushed towards his dream of playing in the Premier League.

There’s not many players who will leave Celtic to go on to play for as big a club.

Ryan’s last Instagram before his move was less than two weeks ago when he said he was honoured to be handed the Celtic captains armband by Callum McGregor when he was subbed off during a game.

Fast forward to now and Ryan’s saying his heartfelt goodbyes. Nobody can begrudge him a move he’s wanted to make and the club certainly got their money’s worth out the bhoy we signed from Inverness. He was certainly a project that came good – yes he had a bad season last year but so did most.

Bournemouth in the Championship will certainly provide a fresh challenge for the Scottish international. We wish him wells
