RYAN CHRISTIE scored Celtic’s goal on Saturday afternoon bringing the bhoys back on level terms. The midfielder has eleven for the season and has started the new campaign outstandingly well.
Taking part in an interview with BT Sports before today’s game, the former Inverness Caley player was asked about Premier League players poaching Celtic stars with the interviewer asking if that day could come for him.
Ryan was incredibly honest about the situation.
“If that opportunity comes down the line, I’ll certainly have to think about it.” Christie told BT Sports.
“For now, everybody at the club is absolutely loving playing for Celtic right now”
Many players before Christie have moved onto the Premier League and this is nothing new for the Celtic support.
Christie’s honestly should be welcomed. He has worked very hard to get where he is at Celtic when you consider in an alternate universe he could have been playing for Hibs on Saturday.
There will certainly be interest at some point if he continues to play well for the club. Hopefully, nothing too soon and he can help bring nine and ten in a row home.
