Ryan Christie Linked With Shock Move

Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie is reportedly a shock target for Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.

As reported by Glasgow Live, Christie could be set for a surprise move to Asia with former Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim, who is in charge of Al-Hilal, supposedly interested in making a move.

In the last 12 months, the 26-year old has had a bit of a mixed perception across sections of the support after some of his performances last season. Of course, not many could be praised for their displays, though.

Like several other players currently at the club, Christie is entering the final year of his deal at the club, which has left the Hoops in a bit of an uncomfortable position.

Ange Postecoglou now has a decision to be made as to whether he will sell the Scottish internationalist.

He has been subject to heavy interest from the likes of Southampton and several French sides, with Al-Hilal becoming the latest team to register their interest.

It looks extremely likely that Christie will be moving on this summer, with no signs of a new contract being discussed at this stage.
