Brentford are eyeing up Celtic’s Kyogo as they prepare for the departure of Ivan Toney, claims TeamTalk.

Ivan Toney, formally a target of Celtic, has been heavily linked to an exit, with his long-term ban coming to an end. Arsenal is a likely destination for the striker.
If the England cap does indeed depart the Bees this January, Kyogo is the top target of Thomas Grank’s side.
However, it’s also reported that Brentford are keen to retain the striker, and are looking to offer him a new deal.
Kyogo, with his 62 goals since arriving in Glasgow, has been widely considered as the best since Larsson but hasn’t been able to hit top form under Brendan Rodgers. He does have a few goals to his name though, in some big matches including in the Glasgow Derby and in the Champions League.
Losing Kyogo in the January window would be a huge blow, but at 28, it could be his last chance for a big move. Celtic are in a great position, though. He’s just signed a new long-term contract, so can expect to make a fair profit on the 2021 £4.5 million signing.
