Rumours down south have surprisingly linked Odsonne Edouard with the outgoing English Champions Liverpool.
Eddy has been linked with quite a few English Premier League sides over the past two years, but until now, Liverpool has never been mentioned.
Anfield Central have made the claim Jurgen Klopp’s side are chasing the French striker and are even looking at a swap deal plus cash sending Divock Origi the other way.
The same report expects Origi to decline any deal which would see him move to Glasgow, citing the frontman’s reluctance to leave Liverpool.
Most fans believe Edouard will leave this summer, we just don’t know where he’s going. The collapse of the French TV deal this season has left so many clubs out of pocket that a move back to France doesn’t look viable.
The EPL seems like the next step for the Celtic star. Liverpool must be looking to sell some of their top attacking talents if they’re looking around for replacements.
