Regarding Celtic’s squad, it is set to be a summer of change with Brendan Rodgers already admitting that there will be a transitional period over the next few weeks and months.
The amount of deadwood within the current squad is copious, while the situations of some players remain unclear. One of those is Rocco Vata.

Despite making a few appearances for the Hoops’ first team this campaign and scoring in the process, the 19-year-old is yet to agree to a new contract. His current deal expires this summer, and the teen is in no way short of interest.
Potential suitors for Vata have long been documented, but his Father hopes he stays in Glasgow.
Rudi, who played for the Bhoys between 1993 and 1996, thinks Rocco should stay put and show what he can do with the champions.
Indeed, he backs his son to have a breakout year in 2024/25 and realise his potential. “I always told him God give you something very special, just work on it”, said Vata senior (Off The Ball via Football Scotland).
“I think his attitude, his mentality, he has built up those three things that I always told him to work hard. To build up the mindset mentality, character and personality. So he built those three things and those three things nobody can take from you.
“So I think now he’s ready to get first-team football and explode his talent. And hopefully, it’ll be at Celtic. But until it’s done, you never know.”
Along with Daniel Kelly, the future of Vata is yet up in the air. Brendan Rodgers always looks to promote youth and has given youngsters opportunities in the season gone by, but it remains to be seen whether either of the teens commit their long-term future to the Hoops.
