ROY KEANE has taken issue with Brendan Rodgers’ post-match interview after the Anderlecht defeat.
The Celtic manager hailed that it was a ‘great achievement’ that Celtic are in Europe beyond Christmas but the Man Utd Legend think it’s unacceptable.
“Really, I thought it was a shocking result, really poor performance. Brendan’s talking there about it being a great achievement. I think the key to management nowadays is to set your standards really, really low and you’ll be in the game for a long time.
“It’s just not acceptable for Celtic, it really isn’t. Losing at home to Anderlecht, come on, give me a break.”
What did Roy Keane expect Celtic to do in that group? Realistically? 3rd place was always going to be the goal and while the result was more than disappointing on Tuesday night – the target was met and Celtic have something to build on.
Imagine this guy as Celtic manager, could he do any better? I really don’t think so.
