Celtic Land Home Draw in League Cup

Celtic have today been drawn against Dunfermline in the League Cup round of 16.

The bhoys will be looking to defend the title again this season as they look to win the trophy four years in a row.

The previous three times Celtic have won the cup has been under Brendan Rodgers.

A new look Neil Lennon side will be at home for the first round of the compeition as the Pars come to Celtic Park for the first time since 2012!

Celtic have been fantastic in cup competitions and have ground out some superb results over the past three years when their backs have been against the wall.

The League Cup provided the platform for Ryan Christie to make his mark on the Celtic side last campaign with the midfielder coming on during the second half of the semi-final against Hearts to completely change the game. The player would go on to score the winning goal against Aberdeen in the final.
