Rotation Expected As Celtic Gear Up For Cup Clash

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou will be handing some fringe players game time as the Hoops get set to take on Scottish League 1 side Alloa Athletic.

On Saturday evening Postecoglou and his squad will be gearing up for their first taste of Scottish Cup action, entering the competition in the fourth round as the 56-year old looks to continue his early cup success as manager.

As reported by Sky Sports, speaking ahead of the game tomorrow, Postecoglou could be set to make a few changes to the side with journalist Alison Conroy revealing that fringe players will be given the opportunity to impress at the Indodrill Stadium.

This weekend’s game will be a good opportunity for the likes of Georgias Giakoumakis, who is returning from injury, to get some minutes under his belt as the side prepares for another busy run of games in the second half of the season.

It will be interesting to see the sort of side that Postecoglou names come 16:15 tomorrow afternoon.

With the additions in January now in the squad, the Celtic manager certainly has plenty of options to choose from.
