Ronny Deila has become the new head coach of New York City after days of rumours culminated in the Norwegian signing on with the MLS side.
Ronny left Celtic over three years ago having secured two league titles in Celtic’s current run of eight.
The manager has always split opinion among the Celtic support but this writer doesn’t mind saying he has a soft spot for the former Celtic manager.
The Norwegian was gracious enough to sit down with us last year and talk about his Celtic run and all things football.
Celtic even congratulated the former Parkhead boss on his big switch.

Ronny will now head up New York City in what will be interesting viewing. The coach has some great ideas and football ideology but it’s about implementing it and delivering on the pitch.
We look forward to see how his stateside adventure unfolds.
