Rogic Watch: Midfielder Starts With Broken Hand

TOM ROGIC will start this morning’s game at the Asian Cup after previously being a doubt due to a broken hand.

The midfielder sustained the injury during Australia’s defeat to Jordan in their opening group tie on Sunday but has managed to make himself available for the game against Palestine.

After the defeat to Jordan, the Palestine game becomes pivotal for the Socceroos to their hopes of advancing in the competition.

Celtic fans would like to see Tom Rogic do well, but they would also love to have their midfielder back as soon as possible.

The quicker Australia are knocked out of the tournament, the better it is from a Celtic point of view. There’s not a lot of love for the Socceroos from Celtic fans lately after the manager Grahman Arnold, and Australian FA refused to allow Tom to play in the Glasgow Derby back in December.

The game kicks off at 11 am Celtic Park Time.
