Celtic fans have a lot to be proud of in recent years, and one of the key figures behind the club’s incredible success is manager Brendan Rodgers.
Since taking over in 2016, Rodgers has played his part in Celtic’s domestic dominance, and his impressive record at Hampden Park stands as a testament to his ability to rise to the occasion in the biggest games.

A Perfect Record at Hampden
Under Rodgers’ leadership, Celtic have enjoyed an unbeaten record at Hampden Park, with 13 appearances and no defeats. This includes seven cup finals, where Rodgers has delivered victory time and time again, often when it matters most. The Hoops’ most recent success at the national stadium came earlier this season when they won the Premier Sports Cup against Rangers on penalties, adding another piece of silverware to their ever-growing collection.
With Celtic now confirmed to be in the Scottish Cup semi-final, Rodgers and his side are aiming for yet another Hampden triumph, which could bring them closer to a potential ninth domestic treble in the Hoops’ history. Given their current form, with a 16-point lead over Rangers in the Premiership, the possibility of adding another treble to their already impressive tally looks more and more likely.
Rodgers on Celtic’s Treble Legacy
Reflecting on Celtic’s success since he took charge, Rodgers was quick to acknowledge the historical significance of his and other managers’ achievements, as well as the focus and professionalism that have been central to his team’s success this season.
Rodgers said: (The Celtic Way), “Yes, well, it’s special because I said to the players beforehand, this is a club that over 128 years had won three Trebles. And since 2016, we’ve won the number that we have. And a big part of that, for me, you get down to, because it’s not quality. Teams from years ago have always had quality and they’ve always had passion. But for me, it’s the focus and the professionalism. And that’s what we’ve tried to be.”
He continued, “So once we arrive into these games, like today, be professional, get your focus right, get the work in and then that will take you to Hampden. And then when we go to there, everything suits us. The pitch is great, good size, always in decent condition, suits our football, then go and play your game.”

The Road to a Ninth Treble
With the Scottish Cup semi-finals on the horizon, and Celtic already having secured the Premier Sports Cup, it’s clear that the Hoops are well on their way to another successful season. Rodgers has made Hampden his fortress, and with the team’s form, it’s hard to bet against the Bhoys lifting another treble this season.
The idea of securing a ninth consecutive treble is within reach, and as Celtic continue their march towards even more history, there’s no doubt that Rodgers will be as focused as ever on delivering success at Hampden and beyond. The domestic dominance of the Hoops shows no sign of slowing down, and with each passing week, the dream of a ninth treble becomes more and more realistic.
