Celtic dropped two crucial Scottish Premiership points on Saturday afternoon. A 1-1 draw at home to Motherwell was not enough for the Hoops to extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
It was an exacerbating day at the office for all concerned with the club, including manager Brendan Rodgers. When asked if he was ‘frustrated’ post-match, he said (BBC Sportsound via Daily Record): “Yes, very. They are games we should win and I expect for us to win. But you have to win them with quality and extra little bit of finesse in the final third.”

Evidently, Celtic didn’t have much class in attack this afternoon. Rodgers is understandably annoyed at this.
Similarly, the fans are frustrated not just by the lack of attacking standard, but the result as a whole. Two points were undoubtedly dropped against Motherwell, with the Hoops only making their title quest more difficult.
