BRENDAN RODGERS spoke on TalkSport this morning ahead of Celtic’s semi final tie with The Rangers on Sunday.
During the interview, former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan asked him about the challenge of the Ibrox side and tried to make them relevant by insinuating they’re the only club that can push Celtic.
Rodgers reply to Jordan was a thing of beauty.
“It doesn’t make any difference to me, I came up here and the standard that I wanted to make was for Celtic and like I say Rangers as a competitor in the league, of course, it pushes you but no more so than what Hibs or Hearts will do.

“You look at these teams, and Aberdeen, clubs with great histories Simon. I think the league is very competitive but at Celtic we try to set our own standard and that’s to be the best that we can be.”
Rodgers goes into this weekends game against The Rangers with a perfect record at Hampden, he will look to hopefully continue that run and get his side through to the final.
