Rodgers’ Potential First Signing Nominated For Prestigious Euro Award

Celtic are closing in on their first summer signing, Odin Thiago Holm.

The young midfielder looks set to join the Hoops from Norwegian outfit Valengra with a medical taking place on Wednesday.

Holm is highly rated in his homeland and rather impressively, he was awarded for a vastly prestigious award.

The European Golden Boy was created by Italian outlet Tuttosport in 2003 and it recognises the best players, under the age of 23, who are plying their trade across Europe.

100 players are nominated every year and for 2023, Odin Thiago Holm is among those up for the award.

Previous winners of the Golden Boy include Gavi, Pedri, Erling Haaland and Joao Felix meanwhile the likes of Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala have been nominated this time around.

The list is clearly full of several notable names and talents and for Holm to be even in this company is tremendous.

Evidently, the 20 year old is one of the hottest European prospects and the fact he appears to be on his way to Celtic is even better.
