CELTIC GAFFER Brendan Rodgers has reiterated his commitment to Celtic and quashed any rumours he sees Celtic as a stepping stone to future opportunities.
The Irishman is loving his time at Celtic and told the fans yesterday that he’s in this for the long haul.
“I see myself coaching for another 20-odd years and it is highly unlikely I will be at Celtic for another 20-odd years, given how football works. But my intention is to be at Celtic for as long as I possibly can to let the club grow and to take it as far as I can.” said the 43-year-old.
There will certainly be downs as well as ups in his tenure as Celtic boss but are we looking at the man who will be trying to lead us to 10 in a row? Now, there’s a thought that sends shivers up the spine!
As I stood inside Celtic Park the day he arrived, I couldn’t have envisioned just how much of an impact Brendan would have in such a short space of time. Long may our success continue.
