Rodgers Dropping Gordon for Dundee Game?

RUMOUR has it that Brendan Rodgers is set to hand Dorus DeVries his first start of the season this afternoon in-place of Craig Gordon.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper hasn’t really been seen since a calamitous piece of goalkeeping against Kilmarnock last season which saw De Vries hooked at half time.

Brendan is set to rest key players ahead of Wednesday’s tie against Bayern Munich in Germany but it would be a massive move to replace your goalkeeper ahead of that game.

Craig Gordon is coming off the heels of international duty and the Irishman may feel his number one is in need of some downtime. However, if the manager does choose to insert Dorus and he makes a mistake then the heat will be firmly on the Celtic manager
