Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has no fears over losing any of his key stars this January. Inevitably, there have already been links between a few of his prized assets and some big clubs, but the Irishman has assured fans.
When asked if he has any fears of losing some of his key men in January, particularly Matt O’Riley after links to Inter, Rodgers replied with a one-word answer (Glasgow Times): “No.”

With the word of the manager, Celtic supporters have been provided with some much-needed assurance. In the opening half of the campaign, O’Riley has been at the top of his game and the transfer news surrounding him came as no surprise.
It seems as though he will be staying put, however, which is a colossal boost for a title-chasing Celtic team.
Rodgers needs his stars fit and ready for a crucial period of the season, and losing any would be of no benefit to him and his club. Things may change in summer and one can never predict what will happen then, although this month, one can rest assured there will be no notable departures from the champions.
