Rodgers Confirms Star Player in Squad for Saturday

PANIC OVER.

After the news from Brendan Rodgers last night that Jozo Simunovic didn’t make the Dundee game because a swollen knee the Irishman today confirmed he will recover for Saturday’s game at Ibrox.

The towering defender has been an integral part of Celtic’s defence for over a year now and his injury problems have cleared up for the most part.

On Celtic’s last visit to Ibrox the defender put on a masterclass and made that famous tackle on Kenny Miller, which is still a thing of beauty.

Celtic fans will be relieved to know he’ll be ready to go midday day on Saturday.
