Celtic dropped points at home in the league for the second time this season on Saturday. Motherwell came to Parkhead and walked away with a draw as the Hoops failed to take advantage of their domination.
In the stadium, the atmosphere was rather flat in the absence of the banned Green Brigade, but manager Brendan Rodgers thinks the onus is on his players to play up. When asked if the flatness affected the result and his men, he said (STV): “There was probably that in the last game as well but we were winning 6-0 (two weeks ago), still the same. It is something on the pitch, we have to make it happen.”

The players will in no way be significantly impacted by how things are in the ground, particularly in a game like Saturday’s. Against bigger opposition, the atmosphere can give the Bhoys an extra edge, but with their domination against Motherwell, Celtic have no excuses.
The Green Brigade are beneficial to the team at times and brings the majority of the undertone. They have, though, crossed a line with the club and it will be intriguing to see where the situation goes from here.
