Roberts Included in Scottish Cup Squad – Excitement Builds

PATRICK ROBERTS has made the provisional squad for today’s quarter final tie against Greenock Morton.

The Englishman hasn’t been in action since November when he suffered a knee injury.

Thanks to top class rehab with his parent club and Celtic the midfielder is in a position to help Celtic with their final push for a double treble.

Roberts will have to do a lot to dislodge the in-form James Forrest who has been outstanding this season on the whole.

There could also be a debut for Marvin Compper, should the Celtic manager believe the German is ready to play.

Here is the provisional squad for today’s 12:30pm kick off.

De Vries, Ralston, Lustig, Tierney, Compper, Hendry, Ajer, Gamboa, Brown, Simunovic, Ntcham, Roberts, McGregor, Musonda, Rogic, Forrest, Sinclair, Dembele, Edouard, Kouassi, Miller, Bain.
