Rivals Open to Permanent Deal for Celtic Midfielder

ABERDEEN Boss Derek McInnes has told his fans that he would love to keep Ryan Christie beyond this season if at all possible.

Strangely mirroring Celtic’s relationship with Patrick Roberts, Aberdeen are loving having the attacking midfielder in their ranks who’s scored five goals this season.

“I am enjoying working with Ryan, so if there were any encouragement or opportunity to extend that working period with them it is something I would always be keen on.”

If Brendan Rodgers still doesn’t want to use Ryan come the summer then the club has shown last year that they’re willing to do business with Aberdeen when The Dons acquired Gary Mackay-Steven on a permanent deal.

Ryan seems to be loving it Aberdeen but has designs on taking a place within the Celtic squad next season. If Patrick Roberts doesn’t return this time around then there’s every opportunity he might do it.
