Rival Manager in Classy Neil Lennon Statement

Opposition manager, Stuart Kettlewell has offered comfort to Neil Lennon after coming under fire, saying that the Northern Irishman has done a magnificent job over the years, whilst conducting himself in a class manner.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Kettlewell’s side picked up their first victory against top league opposition since September, didn’t weigh in his opinion on fellow Scottish Premiership managers position as boss but he did describe his feelings for Lennon and the respect he holds for him.

“Neil is a guy I have a huge amount of respect for.

“You talk about conducting yourself with class and I think of the way he has treated me as a young manager. He’s been class with me and has offered some words of wisdom to me.

“I think he’s done a magnificent job at Celtic and this is a massive task. The pressure is magnified here but he has been terrific and I have nothing but respect for him.

“It’s not my place to comment on what happens at Celtic, but what I have said sums up the man.”

I think it is fair to say that Celtic fans have and most likely will still hold high regard for Neil Lennon after all he has done for this club as both a player and a manager.

That is probably the reason a lot of supporters would want to see him leave his role as Celtic manager because they don’t want that reputation ruined by this one season.

It sadly just hasn’t worked out like I’m sure we all hoped it would and its time for a change if we want to save this season.
