Manchester City right-back and supposed Celtic transfer target Yan Couto is reportedly weighing up a move to the Hoops.
As reported by Sun Sport, the Brazilian full-back was in attendance at Thursday nights comfortable 3-0 victory over Jablonec is now thought to be considering making a move to Glasgow and joining Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
Couto is seen as highly rated by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and even made the bench in last weekend’s Community Shield against Leicester City.
However, the Spaniard looks to have opted to send the 19-year old out on loan with several options from across Europe such as Braga interested.
Ange Postecoglou is in desperate need of another right-back option, despite the good performances of Anthony Ralston in the early stages of this campaign.
It appeared to be a possible boost for Celtic that Couto was in attendance at the game during midweek. Fingers crossed, it could be a hint that a move is edging closer, and we may finally have another option in that area of the park.
