CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS has admitted that the atmosphere at Celtic Park for the nighttime Glasgow Derby took him by surprise.

He, like a few others, signed after Ange Postecoglou’s first derby game, which The Rangers won despite Celtic’s dominance.
Celtic managed to win the second derby of the season, and quite convincingly. With three goals coming in the first half, Celtic went top of the table after the 3-0 win.
The atmosphere was electric that night. It was the first derby at Celtic Park that Celtic fans could attend, and there was a real feeling that if Celtic won the game, they were in with a chance to regain the league title.
The Rangers players were stunned by the atmosphere, while Postecoglou’s bhoys took it in their stride and put the game to bed in the first 45.
Reflecting on the game, Carter-Vickers admits he was surprised by the atmosphere but says it’s good to play in.
He said [Celtic TV]
“Probably the atmosphere [that surprised me the most].
“My first game against Rangers was the nighttime game. The atmosphere and the noise that night was just ridiculous. It definitely did take me by surprise.
“I’m used to it now and it’s definitely a good environment to play in.”
