Revealed: Two Requirements Before Scottish Football Can Return

Late last night BBC Journo Chris McLaughlin broke the story that the SPFL are trying to start next season on schedule by the start of August.

For that to happen, the Scottish Government have to approve the move.

McLaughlin has now outlined the two things that would have to happen in order for the game to resume in this county.

As of today, we are in phase one of the easing of lockdown. Taking tentative steps in order to give the country the beat chance of keeping the virus under control.

Unlike England, the Scottish government are not going to be hasty making a decision. The English league is set to resume behind closed doors in June but the Scottish game must show it has a plan in place for an August kick-off.

With reconstruction not put to bed one way or the other as of yet, the game has to come a long way in the next two months.
