‘Respect the Champions’ – Carl Starfelt Responds After Rangers Fans Abuse

CARL STARFELT and his Celtic teammate Jota had the misfortune of boarding a flight on Sunday afternoon that was full of Rangers fans.

Both Celtic players had to put up with Ibrox fans singing at them, pestering them as they were recorded and someone even put a sticker on Jota’s hat.

One Celtic fan aboard got pictures with the pair and explained what the duo had to put up with for four hours.

Sadly, the behaviour of the Ibrox fans is not surprising and is absolutely expected. Ally McCoist once got on a flight to vegas with a plane full of Celtic fans, there was some great banter back and forth but he never faced abuse.

Both men were just 24 hours removed from winning the title and holding the trophy aloft inside a packed Celtic Park.

Carl Starfelt had a simple message for their fans after the flight on social media.

RESPECT THE CHAMPIONS! Well done to both bhoys for keeping their cool.
